SoundCom Systems

Programming & Installation

We pride ourselves on our quality control process and project management techniques which consistently deliver world-class installations and exceed our clients expectations.

I.COMM’s installation team is extremely experienced with technicians that are required to participate in recurring and specialized training and are well versed in current installation methods, local code requirements, and vendor specific commissioning.

Proper installation often determines how reliable a system will perform and how long a system will last. I.COMM’s installation technicians receive extensive training including InfoComm CTS-I (Certified Technology Specialist – Installation) certification, as well as 120+ various industry and manufacturer specific certifications. A CTS-I technician is trained to install and maintain audio/visual systems by following specifications, schematics, codes, and safety protocols; administering installation process logistics; troubleshooting and problem-solving systems; maintaining tools and equipment; and communicating with clients, designers, other trades to provide the best audio/visual solutions for client needs, on-time and within budget. CTS-I is accredited under the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) and the International Electromechanical Commission (IEC).

On average, technicians are employed by I.COMM for more than 10 years. Our clients benefit from this longevity with consistent operational excellence.

Our technical team tests all equipment before delivery and installation to verify all systems are designed and operational to the highest quality standards. This process ensures the best performance and reliability, while saving time and minimizing disruptions. With each installation, all equipment and wiring is meticulously labeled and documented.

Every I.COMM project has a dedicated project manager assigned as a single point of contact for the entire installation and deployment. Our project managers are highly trained and have a comprehensive knowledge not only with the technologies being deployed, but in the construction process and management procedures. Additionally, our project managers have strong relationships with other trades and are specially trained to collaborate with electrical contractors, construction managers, and general contractors.
